Xand 3D – Return & Reprint Policy
Effective Date: July 19, 2025
This policy is part of the full Terms of Service and adheres to our Privacy and Confidentiality Promise.


1. Overview

At Xand 3D, every order is made-to-spec using customer-supplied files and custom manufacturing settings. Due to the nature of 3D printing and our dedication to tailored output, returns are not generally accepted. However, we stand behind our quality and will reprint or refund in cases where defects are verified as a result of material or production error.


2. Eligibility for Returns, Refunds, or Reprints

A return, refund, or reprint may be considered only if the following conditions are met:

  • The issue is reported within 3 business days of delivery.

  • Clear photographic or video evidence of the defect or error is provided.

  • The defect is due to print failure, material issues, or internal mechanical flaws during production initiated by Xand 3D.


3. Non-Returnable Situations

The following scenarios are not eligible for returns, reprints, or refunds:

  • Cosmetic imperfections not explicitly discussed prior to ordering (e.g., visible layer lines, support marks, or minor blemishes).

  • Issues caused by design flaws or incomplete/inaccurate files supplied by the customer.

  • Shipping damage (claims must be made directly through the courier using provided insurance and tracking).

  • Changes or cancellations made after production has begun.

  • Items printed to spec that meet agreed-upon tolerance and quality expectations.


4. Request Procedure

To request a reprint or refund, customers must:

  1. Contact Xand 3D at xand3dllc@gmail.com or (616) 427-6246 within 3 business days of receipt.

  2. Include the order number, description of the problem, and photographic/video evidence of the issue.

  3. Allow up to 3 business days for internal review.

If approved, we will offer one of the following remedies:

  • Free reprint of the affected part(s).

  • Partial refund based on the severity of the defect.

  • Full refund if the product is unusable due to confirmed fault.


5. Customer Responsibility

Before submitting any files or placing an order, customers must:

  • Ensure files are final, accurate, and production-ready.

  • Specify all critical project parameters (dimensions, material, color, infill, tolerances).

  • Respond in a timely manner to quote confirmations and clarifications.

  • Review and confirm the quote, timeline, and expectations prior to payment.

Xand 3D is not responsible for outcomes that result from lack of communication or misinformation.


6. Custom Nature of Work

All orders are custom, made-to-order and not eligible for return based on change of mind, altered expectations, or external resale plans. Each product is manufactured to the unique specifications provided and is not resellable.


7. Shipping and Risk of Loss

Once a package is handed to the courier and tracking is issued, risk of loss transfers to the customer. Insurance claims for lost or damaged shipments must be processed through the courier.


8. Confidentiality and Data Integrity

Customer-submitted files, personal information, and business data are protected under our Privacy and Confidentiality Promise. No details related to your project will be disclosed or shared without explicit permission. Your return or defect inquiry will be handled with strict privacy.


9. Policy Revisions

We reserve the right to update this Return Policy at any time. Updates will reflect legal, operational, or customer feedback-based improvements and be posted with a revision date.
